Natural Childbirth :
Natural childbirth is a way of birthing where a woman draws on her inner resources and uses non-invasive methods of pain management to consciously and actively participate in the birth of her baby. It is a way of letting nature guide you through an innate process which each woman's body possesses. Irrespective of the location you may want to give birth in, planning for an easeful pregnancy and labour is something that every woman can at least aim for.
The ability of a women to give birth naturally is dependent on good preparation; being well supported in a loving environment; faith in and commitment to the process of natural birth; and most importantly, health in body and mind. With the ever-increasing medical "help" offered during pregnancy and labour, modern birthing has become primarily a medical procedure. The clinical environment, impersonal attendants, ensuing fears and feelings of powerlessness have undermined many women's confidence to give birth naturally. When a woman is able to give birth more naturally, for example by moving about when desired, her body responds better to the stimuli of labour, thereby producing an easier passage for the baby. When there is less interruption to the mother's natural birthing instincts, babies experience a safe, loving, natural birth and are observed to be more alert, less unsettled, keen to breastfeed and develop better bonding
